I am going to Japan at the end of the month, I learned that tipping is frowned at in Japan culture, rather small gifts from your home area that represent your country for tour guides, etc are appreciated and accepted. The type of gifts suggested were food items, postcards, small souvenirs were suggested so the bags should be perfect our trip.
